Just kidding! Anyway, back to the reflections. Well, today's event was sort of like quite successful, though there were a few flaws here and there. To err is human, don't be too disappointed! First, let's talk about the successful parts of the event. As far as I know, almost all SLs (well because there are SSCs present also) were at their respective posts, that's one good point. Another thing is, when the event had rolled out for a few hours, everyone was getting tired. But it didn't get the smiles off everyone's faces! There were also a lot of prefects helping out at the foyer, because obviously Geng You, Fazirah and I cannot handle all visitors alone (no pun intended!). The SSCs also stopped by to help out, it's really good to see the PB and the SSC to work together and to bond together. And everyone was very polite and courteous, I can see that we all greeted the guests when they came in (well even greeted repeatedly!). Many prefects also helped to distribute the booklets (honestly it was "a bit of waste of paper and trees", as Geng You said) to the guests. When we do not have enough on our hands, a second group will rush in to give the books. Great job guys(and ladies)! Enough about that, let us look at some areas for improvement.
- Some of us were too talkative, please refrain from talking too much. Not saying you cannot talk, but talk when necessary.
- Do not stray away from your duty post unless absolute necessary.
- There is lack of urgency in doing what we were supposed to do. [UPDATED]
- Perhaps we can better organize ourselves so that there will not be visitors coming from the other side not having anyone to serve them? [UPDATED]
Well, so far I only identified these areas of improvement, so if there is anymore I will communicate with Kashib directly. So, this event was 99% successful, I hope? Hahas thanks to everyone, I'm seriously grateful for all help that you all have rendered. Some people worth mentioning are Lynette and Co. (pardon me if there is any spelling error), Sean (the guy who is always so anxious to distribute the books...) and, well basically everyone! Thanks to all, you all deserve the praises and the food (ah Edward you must have got a wonderful "tea-break")!
Persevere everyone! Only till then can you finally serve and lead the others.
We lead,
Kang Ming
[UPDATED]: I found the name in the template and changed mine to the correct one, so no need to help me look for it. Thanks.
